Tim Holtz inspired Christmas cards

I made these cards at my favorite Scrap store in Berkley.. Scrapbook Teritory...
this was so much fun. I wasn't a fan of these ink pads, my friend Gloria talked me into taking the class... at the end of the class I bought two new ink pads and add four more of them to my christmas list...
I loved blending them, like on the santa card.. it was so much fun...
and the snow flakes in the snowman card was a kick too.. not that I would make them for just anyone....

Black Friday Riding day

We didn't join the California and the nations masses and flock to the Mall to do holiday shopping, instead we headed to the local ORV park and rode for the day.

Kailtyn got to wear her stylin fox gear Daddy bought her last Christmas.. we we're very thankful that she could she fit into it!

She enjoyed playing model for mommy's camera all the while yelling to me to 'Click mommy, click" this one is definately not camera shy. She has actually taken some good pics as the young budding photographer.

Gave the new camera a workout taking pics of Sean and friends on the motorcross track.. think I'll be putting a new telephoto lense for the new Rebel xt on my list for Santa.

The weather had been great for Thanksgiving and friday. It was sunny and 65-70... better that the grey skys we had for a few days.. it was good to be outside soaking up the sun rays and working off the turkey dinner.

digi scraps

my new found love is digi scrappin...
I just love that everythings at your fingertips... papers, embellishments, photos and the ability to journal on the page as you create... LOVE IT!

Its the best timesaver to create and journal your feeling and thoughts right at that moment.. you don't have to wait for photo development .. you can even crop and ALTER the photo as your putting it on your page.

I have posted up a couple of my first layouts here .. but new stuff is coming soon.
And those of you that know my croppin stlye... yes I can distress just as well on the digi pages just wait and see!!!
AND NO I'm not giving up my supply of paper and other REAL scrappin stuff ;)

Philps Farm; Pumpkin patch

This trip to the Pumpkin patch wasn't about the pumpkins at all.. the biggest hit was seeing the farm animals. My daughter is such the animal lover. She went righ up to these turkeys to pet them. These turkeys were great. The farmer walked around the whole crowd of little kids with these turkeys.
It was an awesome experience, just loved the place. Definately going back next year.

its not all about Kailtyn...

These are the other furry children we have. Maverick is the lighter golden and is a typical adolsent male. Sierra is our sweetheart she turned five this summer, its hard to believe. They are a major part of our family and Kailtyn just adores them.

Kaitlyns Birthday Celebration

Kailtyn celebrated her fourth birthday with cake and presents..we also dined on her favorite... McDonald's chicken nuggets,, happy meal stlye of course.
She is the queen of Polly pockets and got several new additions to her kingdom.

We had a small party for her at the bowling alley . It was the first time she bowled and loved it.

First Time Ice skating....

Kaitlyns first ice experience was one to be remembered because I doubt she will be back on the ice anytime soon. She loved the ice skate itself but wanted nothing to do with them being on the ice. after snapping this pics.. she was off the ice and wanted to go home!

guess I got myself a California girl!

Its been a month

Wow can't believe the month of October has gone by.
Kailtyn is now offically FOUR going on 14 it feels like sometimes, its amazing what little ones pick up from older siblings.

Kailtyn celebrated her birthday for a whole month, saying happy birthday to everyone and demanding cake everyday! Birthday was then replaced by Halloween and Kailtyn was replaced with the Fairy Witch.
