Turning Forty!!!

Ugh... with all the hipe about this 'magical" moment. I felt nothing!
I keep repeating to myself that todays 40's are more like 30's!!
Ahhhh not saying I would want to go backward by no means.

I requested the celebrating was kept quiet... what is there to celebrate?
its just another birthday... just another number!

I had a great gathering of scrappin friends and it was a great day!
I got to teach a project of mine that everyone loves and it was so gradifying sharing.

Monday my actually birthday I took off with my friend and scrappin buddy Gloria and raided some
scrap stores. I found the coolest new paper trimmer finally... LOVE IT!
and even got a lead on a teaching position... thanks Gloria for giving me that nuge!

All in all turning forty was NOT a huge event thankfully... now Fifty that may be the event forty use to be ;)

Birthday Crop

For my BIG birthday I had someof my favorite scrappin friends over
to scrap for the day. We had lots of fun talking, scrappin and eating.
I also showed my friends how to do a canvas project.
This was fun. Thanks girls for making a fun day!!!
